Don was a kind-hearted man with a gentle spirit who loved his family and friends. He enjoyed watching sports and being in the outdoors. Don had a strong faith in God and was a devote catholic. Mike and Mark were especially close nephews to him. They were his closest family and took such good care of him. Proceeded in death by parents Louis and Evelyn (Baloun) Maras; sisters Anita Haggar and Bertha Hassebrook; brothers Gene Maras and Jack Maras. Survived by siblings Theresa (Alvin) Radke, Francis Maras, Agnes Thompson, Diane (Eldon) Klaahsen, Joann Maras, Mary Moorshead, Dominic (Linda) Maras, Ben (Sharon) Maras and Phil Maras.
Burial will be at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, January 2, 2018 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th street, family and friends will be at the funeral home.
