Evans, Elaine – 92, of Lincoln, passed away December 18, 2014 at Madonna St. Jane de Chantal. Elaine was born on January 14, 1922 to Edwin and Helen (Johnson) Hinckley in Omaha and later graduated from Omaha Central High.
Elaine is survived by her three children; Son Michael and Marilyn Evans of Cawker City, Kansas; Daughter Georgianne and Denny Williams of Indianapolis, Indiana and Son Dennis and Sherry Evans of Lincoln. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert and one great grandchild.
Elaine was a member of Havelock United Methodist. She was a longtime resident of Mahoney Manor prior to moving to Madonna this summer. Elaine enjoyed sewing, reading, Bingo and Wii Bowling. After retirement Elaine took pride in many hours of volunteer service at the Nebraska State Office Building.
