Esther Anderson Passed away March 4, 2015 at the age of 89 in Kimberling City, MO where she had resided for the past 12 years Born February 25, 1926 in Grafton, NE to Andrew and Elsa Katrina (Huber) Ackermann Married Nels Edward "Ed" Anderson January 25, 1946 in Saronville, NE. They were married for 54 years. Esther worked in food service at Whittier and Robin Mickel Junior High Schools in Lincoln for many years Member of First Lutheran Church for over 50 years. Survived by: son Steven and wife Jean Anderson of Kimberling City, MO Grandson Kyle Anderson and wife Kristin and great-granddaughter Anya of Gypsum, CO Grandson Eric Anderson and wife Betty of McLean, VA Sisters Wilma Ackermann of Lincoln, NE and Rachel Heering of Seattle, WA Brother Ben Ackermann and wife Gerry of Mount Vernon, WA and numerous nephews, nieces, great- nephews and nieces and great-great n&n Preceded in death by husband Ed, daughter Linda, and angelic great-grandsons Aksel and Austin infant sister Luella Ackermann; sisters and brothers-in-law Lydia and Oscar Roemmich; Sarah and John Gruenemeyer, Elizabeth and Wally Sharpnack, Tom Herringa Brother and sister-in-law Gilbert and Claudette Ackermann Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM Monday March 9, 2015 at First Lutheran Church.
