Gabe T. Wilken age 38 of Lincoln, Friday, January 16, 2015. Born in Lincoln, NE to Merle “J.R.” and Elizabeth “Susie” (Gorka) Wilken. Gabe was a graduate of Malcolm High School where he ran cross country. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and camping. He also enjoyed going to Husker football games. Gabe was a certified Harley Davidson Parts Professional and has worked for Frontier Harley Davidson for the past 19 years. He was a member of the local and national H.O.G. Riders and he loved riding his Harley all over the country, having logged over a quarter of a million miles on his bikes. Preceded in death by grandparents and he is survived by his son Dalton Rowan-Wilken; his parents J.R. and Susie; sister Michelle Wilken; aunts, uncles and cousins. Also surviving is his soul mate Carla Baier-Krcmarik. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 1:30PM at the Lincoln Berean Church 6400 S. 70th St. Lincoln, NE. Riders are asked to bring their helmets to the church for the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Dalton’s educational fund in care of grandpa Merle.
