Gary L. Deubelbeiss

Gary was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Fredaline (Jean) Deubelbeiss and his younger brother Larry Deubelbeiss.

Gary is survived by his wife Kimberly (Hatcher) Deubelbeiss, Sister and brother-in-law Gayle and Ken Broman. Sons Chris Deubelbeiss, Jeston and Daniel Gergen. Grandchildren Nick, Riley, Tyler, Lathan, & Scarlet Deubelbeiss, Daniel Gergen II, Donald Gergen and 3 Great Grandchildren. Nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Gary was born in Lincoln NE on September 17, 1952. He attended Belmont Elementary School, Whittier Jr High, Lincoln and Northeast High Schools. Gary was enlisted in the Air Force from 1971 – 1977 and was also in the Lincoln Air National Guard for a total of approx. 17.5 years of military service. He retired from BNSF Railway in 2015 with 30 years of service. Gary’s hobbies over the years included cars, motorcycles, skydiving, flying lessons, flying radio controlled airplanes, fishing, remodeling and repairing whatever was broken. He enjoyed listening to music and keeping in contact with family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Holy Savior Lutheran Church 4710 N 10th St Lincoln, NE 68521 on May 20, 2026 at 10:30am with a lunch following in the lower level. Graveside service at 1pm Lincoln Memorial Cemetery 6800 S 14th St Lincoln, NE 68512
