Gilbert Arthur Burley - Born: November 14, 1935, San Diego, CA. Died: February 7, 2017. Gib loved his family, friends and pets. A graduate of Lincoln High School, eight year member of the United States Navy and retired from the State Department of Labor, Gib enjoyed mystery books, classic car restoration, and crime shows. As a member of the United States Navy, he witnessed bomb testing at Bikini Atoll. Survived by: daughter and son-in-law Marla and Sean Payant, grandchildren Samantha and Christopher (Lincoln), good friend Kay Griffin (Lincoln), brothers Bill Burley (Lincoln) and Jerry Burley (Winter Park, CO), nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife of 47 years Shirley, son Troy, and parents Forrest (Fred) Burley and Marjorie (Sexton) Burley.
