Hannah grew up on a farm near Hickman. From an early age, she loved all animals, especially horses, dogs, and cats. She became active in 4-H and tried her hand at showing bucket calves, chickens, goats, rabbits, and so much more. She loved baking with Grandma Karen and showing horses with Grandma Jo. Hannah had the desire to learn everything she could which led her to compete and win at numerous national contests and championships.
When Hannah was little, she wanted to be the pink Power Ranger when she grew up. She eventually grew up to be a different kind of superhero. She graduated from Bryan College of Health Sciences in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and worked as a registered nurse at Bryan Medical Center and Gastroenterology Specialties. Hannah found love when she met her partner, Jess, in 2017, and they got engaged in 2022. At the end of Hannah’s time on this earth, she gave the gift of life through organ donation. She touched many lives with her unending kindness.
Hannah enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially if it was when she was working with her horses or gardening, as well as working on barn and house projects with her brothers, Jacob and Joshua. She loved to read, soaking in the sun, rainbows, and mid-day naps. She also loved quiet nights at home with her pets (dogs, Roux and Watson; cats, Piper, Ripley, Cap, and Luci).
Hannah was preceded in death by grandparents, Duane and Ardyth Ronnau. She is survived by her parents, Bruce and Kendra; brothers, Jacob and Joshua Ronnau; fiancée, Jess Nguyen; grandparents, Ron Case and Karen Kitt Case, David and Mary Jo Livingston; uncle, Scott (Erin) Kitt, aunt, Brooke Hinrichs; and cousins, Kyra and Olivia Hinrichs.
Her celebration of life will be held at First-Plymouth Church on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made out to the Salt Creek Wranglers Horse and Pony Club or the Ronnau family for future memorial/scholarship designation.
