Paulsen, Idonna Louise Pieper, age 80 of Lincoln, died Sunday, April 26, 2015. Born in rural Fairbury, NE to Edward F. W. and Louise R. W. (Huss) Pieper. Member of Trinity United Methodist Church for over 50 years. Forty year employee, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. Idonna was an avid gardener who especially enjoyed growing pumpkins to give to family and friends. She also enjoyed bowling, bingo and reading. She was a member and past president of the VFW Auxiliary, American Legion and the Burlington Railroad retirees. Preceded in death by her husband Norman; parents Ed and Louise; brothers Julius and Edward Pieper; sisters Evelyn Pieper, Gladys Pieper, Martha Kujath; brothers-in-law Phil Davis and John Kujath. She is survived by her children Richard (Georgia) Paulsen, Teresa (Hank) Luers, Laurie (Kendall) Harris, Ronald (Sue) Paulsen, Linda (Gary) Young; grandchildren Angie Hier, Tom Hier, Julie (Jason) Johnsen, Jennifer (Stephen) Prasch, Jessica Young, Daniel Young, Brian (Jami) Burris, Dan Burris; great grandchildren Samantha, Sydney, Stephen, Ethan, Noah, Josiah, Micah, Parker and Evalee: sister Dorothy Davis; sister-in-law Judy Pieper; nieces and nephews. Funeral service 2:00pm Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home 6800 S. 14th St. Lincoln, NE. Visitation will be Wednesday before the service. Memorials to the family for a later designation.
