Remember when you came to visit us a few years back at my house.  I am so grateful that you came to see us one last time.  You were so happy to just be around family no one would ever know how much you were really going through. You have one of the biggest hearts I have ever seen and have always been an inspiration to me. I hope you are finally at peace and never stop smiling no matter what. You have shown me to face life with a smile no matter how cruel and unfair.  You'll always be a part of me and always be my uncle Jimmy. I wish we spent more time together.   Love u UNC, keep smiling and looking over us. 

One of my most memorable moments is when Jimmy came to Morgantown where I live and was staying with his grandma gg and there was this one night in particular when I his uncle and friend shot a fire fly out a tree about 40 feet up into the air. It was a totally awesome thing for me to have his company that night I will never forget that night early 2018.

My prayers go out for Jim Crawford's family, loved ones , and Friends. Jim was my friend. I felt very close to Jim. We were like brothers. Please take comfort in knowing that God had opened Jim's eyes and gave him Faith to believe and that he received the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior. Right now Jim is there in heaven hanging out with people we knew that also received Christ as their personal savior. So it's not the end but a new beginning. I give thanks to my God the Lord Jesus Christ the comforter and in knowing this. What a hope we have in Christ. I am so thankful that I got to know Jim. I will never forget him and I will always be thinking about him and praying for his family. God bless you all!

Remember when we were visiting grandma last year, she had broke her back and was using a walker. She walked real slow, you were following her down the hallway to make sure she made it to her room. You were cracking jokes to lighten the mood as you often did, and you said to her, “grandma you’re gonna go and get a speeding ticket if you don’t slow down”.  She chuckled and I couldn’t stop laughing. I can still hear your voice and laughter from that day. Keep them smiling in heaven little brother. Your sis, Mary

I wish I would have spent more time with you but glad I could be there for you over the last year.  I have always thought of you more as the older brother I never had than as an Uncle. I will always remember my earliest memory of you on your motorcycle, taking me back to my foster home when I ran away. That ride took my mind off why I ran away in the first place and was the one and only time I have been on a motorcycle.  It was one of the more pleasant memories of my childhood and I will never forget it.

To my Cousin Jimmy, I know you're in a better place with no more pain. I saw you 3 months ago and had fawn memories with you. You were such a great and loving person. You will be dearly missed, until we have meet again your Cousin Vinny

Remember when we all most blow up the mini bike? You sister Shelly helping done from that tree, Going through the  back yard to the State Fair and doing the Pepsi VS Soda thing 100 time a day,  sled down a little hill behind the park? Will miss my childhood friend! May all his family ,old and new remember the boy and the man that is on the inside!



Being your big sister, I always tried to protect you as best as I knew how. I wish I could have protected you more as the years went by. Even if we didn't always meet eye-to-eye, you were my baby brother and I loved you. You will always remain a huge part of my life. Your humor is contagious and your smile is big. I know that now you're walking beside Grandma, Grandpa, Billy Jo, Butchie, Paige, and all the others that came before us. Your work on earth is done.

When you came into the church a couple months ago and hugged your Dad was very special. I saw the tears in your eyes. So thankful for that time you two had together.  
I will remember our conversations on the phone. I tried to tell you about our family as much as I could. Especially  Grandfather & Grandmother Crawford and your Dad Jimmy.

Jimmy's mom and I were both pregnant at the same time. I had Jimmy's cousin, Pete and she had Jimmy. We were so happy to get boys. So sad that Jimmy is gone

My fondest memories of you are when we’d all go on long camping trips. 
Lakes were like a second home. 


Heaven gained such an amazing beautiful angel.  You were so kind , out going and always put a smile on every ones face. It was such a blessing to meet you . Not many people know , but you gave me great advice at one point in my life

I'm sorry for your loss. I'm praying for all of his family and friends and loved ones at this time to help you get through this time of grief. I know how hard it is to lose a loved one. I am happy though that Jim is not suffering anymore and he never will again. He was a good friend and like a brother to me. He's in heaven now . May God be with you all at this time.

My name is Lisa Rothwell, me and Jimmy grew up together. We used to have so much fun terrorizing the neighborhood, and doing our break dancing thing lol. I will miss him greatly. He was like a older brother to me. Luv you jimmy💕💖heaven gained a awesome beautiful person, until we see each other again. Luv u big brother.
