James Haist

James M. Haist, 62 of Lincoln died August 30, 2014. Born August 10, 1952 in Lincoln. US Navy veteran, served in Vietnam. Former employee of Lincoln Plating and Concrete Industries. Avid gardener and fisherman. Loving husband, father and grandfather. Survived by wife, Tarilyn (Riblett) Haist of Lincoln; daughters, Misty Patterson of Lincoln; and Corinne (Paul) Ripenburg of Lincoln; son, Gregory Haist of Lincoln; grandchildren, Daniel Haist; Nancy Ripenburg; Sierra Patterson; James Ripenburg; and Rylee Haist-Bearce; step-grandchildren and a step-great-grandchild all of Lincoln; brother and sister in law, Kevin (Linda) Riblett of Central City; sister and brother in law, Judee (Larry) Wagner; as well as many other relatives and special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Helen Haist; two brothers; and mother and father in law, Bernard and Nancy Riblett. Celebration of Life Service will be Monday September 8, 2014 at 12:30 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Kerry O’Bryant officiating. Inurnment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park. No public viewing or visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Haist family.
