Kathryn Rose Towle

Kathryn graduated from Lincoln High School. She and her two sisters, Jacquelyn and Charlotte, sang as a trio called The Large Sisters. They made several records and sang on the radio. She met and married her husband of 52 years, Donald E. Towle. Over the years she had many jobs such as a Lincoln telephone operator, supervisor in the State Motor Vehicle Department, and an Avon representative earning several awards, until she retired. She also sang in the Sheridan Lutheran Church Choir. She enjoyed golf, bowling, playing cards and family get-togethers for birthdays and holidays. Kathryn is survived by her two daughters and their spouses, Sandra and Michael Lambelet and Laurie and Clair Lindquist, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a cousin and four nephews. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three step-brothers, two sisters and her niece.

Memorials can be directed to the family and will be given to the nursing staff at the Legacy that cared for her.
