Kent W. Stauffer Kent Wayne Stauffer, 68, of Lincoln, died November 28, 2014. Born in O’Neill to Marvin and Elizabeth (Harper) Stauffer. He graduated from Page, NE and joined the U.S. Army shortly after graduation, serving in the Vietnam War. He retired as an IT specialist for USDA-FSA in December, 2012. After retirement, he enjoyed repairing computers. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW and Southwood Lutheran Church. Kent is survived by his daughters: Elizabeth (Michael Stinman fiance) and Jenna, both from Lincoln; Brothers, Randy from O'Neill and Val from Grand Island; Sister, Marsha (Ron) Bauer from Valentine; One niece and seven nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services will be held Friday, December 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Southwood Lutheran Church, 9300 South 40th St., Lincoln, NE. No visitation, cremation. Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Stage Theater, Hickman, NE or the Capital Humane Society.
