Lawrence Paul Dixon, 80, of Lincoln died July 6, 2022. Born April 24, 1942 in Battle Creek, Iowa to Paul Patrick Dixon and Louise Marie Sorenson. As the oldest of 6 children, Larry had a lot of responsibilities. Spending much of his youth helping his beloved grandparents, Neils and Ellen Sorenson, on their farm, he learned the importance of hard work.
In his early twenties, Larry began his career in trucking. A career that would span 5 decades and put over 9 million miles on the odometer.
In 1972, Larry met the love of his life, Donna. Together they raised 3 children, Rae, Zach and Nicole.
Survived by: “His honey,” Donna Rae Dixon. Children, Rae, Zach and Nicki Dixon. Daughter-in-law, Jessica Dixon. Grandchildren, Seth Dixon, Levi Eggers, Jase and Zeva Dixon. Siblings, Maggie Gerk, Ingrid Happel, Mary Carmosino, Tim Dixon and Julie Dyess.
