He served four years in the Air Force and then joined the Nebraska Air National Guard. After his retirement he worked for 12 years at Bryan East Hospital.
He is survived by Patricia his wife of 64 years; son, Scott and daughter-in-law, Diane; son, Randy; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Gies, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Service will be at 10:30am Wednesday, May 8, at Lincoln Berean Church. The family will greet guests from 9:00 to 10:30am. Memorials in care of the family for future designation. Condolences:lincolnfh.com
