Marlene was born December 1, 1941 in Manyaska Township Martin County, MN to Henry and Eunice Studer. She married Mark Hobbs on September 16, 1961 and they set off on an adventure, living in many cities in the US and also in the Philippines and Germany - ultimately making Lincoln their home. Marlene was a loving mother and devoted her life to raising her children. She later became a doting grandmother and loved being surrounded by her eight grandchildren.
Marlene is survived by her children and grandchildren: Sara (Hobbs) Swierk, husband Jason, and daughters Andie and Katelyn; Mark Hobbs, wife Whitney, and sons Wyatt, Sawyer, and Hayes, and daughter Elly; Jennifer (Hobbs) Myers, husband Charlie, daughter Halle and son Owen.
Marlene was preceded in death by her husband Mark, her parents Henry and Eunice Studer, and sisters Rita Swanson and Nancy Erickson.
A graveside celebration of life will be held at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery on Thursday, July 3rd at 9:00am.
