Melba 'Jean' Clayton passed with loving family by her side on Tuesday, December 26, 2017, in Milford. A nomad of sorts, she had lived in New Mexico, New York, California and Nebraska. Her home, however, was always in Valparaiso, where she lived for many years with her best friend and husband of 45 years, Robert. Actively involved in the community, she volunteered often with Meals on Wheels and with the Senior Center in Valparaiso. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her daughter Lea (Tim) Davis, whom she loved and treated like her everything. She is survived by granddaughters as well: McKenzie and Amelia Davis, Susie Baker, Tammy Edie, and Kianna Friesz. A memorial service will be held at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home on January 5th, 2018 at 3PM
