Dr. Richard “Rick” K. Norton, 72, of Lincoln, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2016. He was born in San Bernardino, CA to Frederick Keithel and Mary Isabel Norton. Retired Captain in the Air Force, Rick was a Graduate of Kansas State University with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. An animal enthusiast and dog lover, Dr. Norton’s practice was exclusive as Equine Medicine. For many years he was the Veterinary specialist at Pioneers Park. Church was important to Rick and he was a self taught Fiddle player. Survivors: Daughters: Ellen (Jake) Barnes, Kerin Norton and Victoria Norton. Sister: Sharon Baker. Preceded in death by: Parents.
