Robert E. Lanham, Age 81, of Lincoln Passed away on July 17, 2025. Bob was born on May 17, 1944. He was married to Sharon for 58yrs; who was called home in October 2023. Bob and Sharon had two sons Scott and his wife Ronni Lanham, Tom Lanham and Wife Sandra Chavez-Lanham; 2 Siblings Butch and Wife Diane Reiman of Superior Ne.; Ricky and husband Mike Droege of Oak Grove Mo. Four Grandchildren; Adrian Chavez, Austin Fickle and Shelbi Darnell, Andrew Lanham, and Arianna Lanham. One great-grandchild Rhett Fickle.
Preceded in death by his parents, Max and Iva Lanham, Wife; Sharon Lanham, Sister; Ricky Droege.
Bob grew up in Nora, Nebraska on a dairy farm. Moved to Lincoln 1961, where he worked as a cement truck driver. Bob returned to school and obtained his certification to work as a pipe fitter welder with BTJ steam fitter local 88. Bob worked through the Midwest on multiple power plants. Sometimes being gone 3-4 weeks at a time when he first started. Later Bob took a maintenance position with ADM so that he could spend more time at home and at the lake with family and friends.
He retired after 24yrs. Sharon then retired 2 years later; they then traveled for a few years and made memories Sharon took pictures of it all.
We all know Bob worked hard, played hard, and has passed that on to his sons. He had multiple collections and loved his hobbies.
Throughout their marriage Bob and Sharon have been richer and poorer, and have supported each other in sickness and health, and were separated in death, but have also been reunited for eternity.
