Roger Fosler

He was born in Seward to William J. and Clara E. (Hemsath) Fosler on August 19, 1939.

Survived by wife JoAnne Fosler, children, Russell (Jackie) Fosler of Panama, Lisa (Jeff) Adams of Bennet, Don (Kim) Fosler of Adams, Trecia (Marc) Stueckrath of Omaha, and Larry Fosler of Lincoln. Brothers and sisters Bill (Polly) Fosler of California, Wilma Wise, Howard (Mary Lou) Fosler, both of Lincoln. Grandchildren Kelli (Mike) Maahs, Dustin (Katie)Brock, James (Allison) Brock, Serena, Amy, Katy Fosler, Victoria Ference, Lillian and Lucus Stueckrath. Great grandchildren Reece and Trinitee Maahs, Savannah, Lea, and Beck Brock. Step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews and other loved family members.

Preceded in death by parents, sisters Doris Fosler, Margaret Colborn, brother-in-law Gerald Wise, Mother-in-law and father-in-law Lawrence and Francis Spahn.

Roger was a loving son, brother, husband and father who adored his family. He was always there to lend a helping hand. He never met a stranger, literally, he seemed to know everyone!! He was a friendly, outgoing man. Loved living on an acreage and raising horses. He delighted in having his grandchildren and great-grandchildren visit, often entertaining them with a tractor, horseback or hayrack rides. He could fix anything and often had to, repairing his farm equipment. His ornery ways will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
