Scott Smith

Scott Smith October 10, 1961 – February 11, 2017 Scott died peacefully at his home after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. He was a graduate of Bennington High School and a 1992 graduate of UNL. He was employed with Zoetis Animal Health for 36 Years and currently as the Director of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing. He was an avid hunter, loved fishing with friends and family and traveling with his wife to many places as well as entertaining guests with his cooking and grilling. Survived by wife, Dorothy; parents, Dale and Colleen of Bennington, NE; sons, Craig of Denver, CO and Kyle of Lincoln, NE; stepsons, Mike (Chelsea) of Lincoln, NE and Rob (Janelle) of Lincoln, NE; stepdaughter, Ashley of Lincoln, NE; grandchildren, Brysant, Clayton, Emma, Izzy and Zach; sisters, Dalene Pike of Dawsonville, GA and Cheryl (Seth) Becker of Roswell, GA; uncle, Mike Fleharty of Omaha, NE; aunt, Maureen (Allen) White of Hazelton, ID and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many great friends.
