Born on March 11, 1950, in Sioux City, Iowa, Tim was the son of Melvin and Phyllis Hedberg. He grew up with a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for nature, values that carried through his life and career.
Tim attended the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where he earned a degree in Construction Management Engineering. While at UNL, he was proud to be a member of the rowing team, embracing the camaraderie and discipline that came with it. Following graduation, he dedicated 35 years of his life to working as an equipment operator in the construction industry, retiring with the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
A man of many passions, Tim loved to travel the world and hit the ski slopes whenever he could. He found peace and joy in the outdoors, had a gentle way with animals, and was always eager to lend a hand to anyone in need. Whether he was watching a Huskers game, sharing stories with friends, or spending time with family, Tim lived fully and loved deeply.
He was a devoted husband, a beloved brother, a caring stepfather, and a proud grandfather and great-grandfather.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Janet Hedberg; his stepchildren, Owen Karre (Tiffany) and Elizabeth Steinhour; his grandchildren, Harold Karre and Destiny Rademacher; his great-grandchildren, Addy, Taya, and Cohen Rademacher; his siblings, Sandy Hedberg, Greg Hedberg (Maise), and Melvin Hedberg; his niece, Jennifer Thompson; his nephew, Christopher Halferty (Amanda); great-nieces Jayden and Isabelle Halferty; his nephews, Jesse, Grant, and Reed Hedberg, and their mother, Carey; and further survived by other relatives and friends.

Those who knew Tim will remember his kind heart, his unwavering support for those he loved, and his infectious smile. He will be missed dearly and remembered always.
