

Victor H. Ramos, 80, of Lincoln, passed away on Sunday, February, 15, 2015. He was born on August 3, 1934 in Manhattan, NY to Pastor and Agripina (Serrano) Ramos. Victor grew up in the South Bronx. As a boy, he had many jobs, but particularly liked working in the garment industry and as a part time Postal Worker with his Father. He joined the Air Force at age 17. US Air Force Veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. He received a Good Conduct Medal and Air Force Longevity Medal. While stationed in Topeka, KS at Forbes Air Force Base, he married Dolores Coleen Brown. He moved with his family to Lincoln, NE in June 1966, where he lived the remainder of his life with his loving family. Survivors: Wife of 61 years, Dolores (Brown) Ramos. Daughters: Victoria (Randall) Dankleff, Mickey Rae Ramos, Barbara (Michael) Johnston. Son: Vincent Ramos. Grandchildren: Adrienne (Jerry) Stansell, William Dankleff, Melanie Matulka, Anna Christensen, Andrew (Ashley) Dankleff, Shiloh Johnston, Joshua Ramos, Emily Ramos. 17 Great-Grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews. Sister: Alice Ramos. Brothers: William, Raymond, Orlando and Gene Ramos. Preceded in death by: Parents, Brother: Joseph, and Sisters: Jenny, Lillian and Nancy.
