Wayne J. Ruliffson

December 3, 1934 - February 10, 2022

Wayne (87) was born to Warren and Olga (Waite) in Eagle, NE. Wayne spent most of his childhood in Eagle. He moved to Lincoln in 1952 and attended Teacher's College High School where he enjoyed playing on the basketball team. He graduated in 1953, and in 1955 married his classmate Janice Warboys.

Wayne's career was in the Life Insurance Industry in which he attained his CLU and ChFC designations and managed a successful insurance agency. He retired at the age of 75 from Woodmen Accident and Life/Assurity Life Insurance Company.

Wayne enjoyed Nebraska sports, especially football, women's basketball and volleyball. He also was a member of the Sesostris Shrine Foot Patrol where he served as Secretary/Treasurer for years.

Wayne is survived by his wife Janice, sons Gregory (Deb) of Rineyville, KY, and Garry ( Corinne) Lincoln. Daughters, Lynda Benker, and Karyn Reida (Mark) both reside in Lincoln, 13 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Harold and Harmon, son-in-law Dennis Benker, and great-granddaughter Harper Oltmans.
