Willard Franklin Shepard

Willard Franklin Shepard, age 73, of Lincoln, Ne, passed away October 26, 2017. Willard was the son of Cornelius (Boots) and Loretha (Jackson) Shepard of Lincoln. Willard was born in Lincoln Nebraska on November 30th, 1943. He worked as a Para-educator and Coach with Lincoln Public Schools. He enjoyed youth athletics and especially high school athletics at Lincoln high school “GO LINKS” He was preceded in death by his parents, Cornelius and Loretha Shepard, and brother Richard Shepard. Survivors include children, son, Guy L. Shepard (Paulensia) of Chandler Arizona, and daughter, Angela D. Allejos (Michael) of Rialto California. Grandchildren: Chelsie Allejos, Dominque Brown, Giovanni Shepard, Christine Shepard, Deven Shepard, and Da’Sean Shepard. Sisters: Lois, Elinor, & Juanita. Brothers: Ray, Orville, Stewart, Roddy, Chuck & Leonard, and a host of relatives and friends. The Family of Willard Shepard wishes to express thanks and appreciation to Newman Methodist Church, Mt Zion Baptist Church and their members, as well as dear friends for their acts of kindness. Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm Friday, Nov. 3, at Newman United Methodist; 2242 R St, Lincoln, NE 68503. Minister: John Goldrich presiding.
