In loving memory of our dear Alexis Carattini, affectionately known as Alex, who passed away on April 7, 2024, in Matawan, New Jersey. He was 44 years old. Alex was not just a presence in our lives; he was the heart and soul of our family and community.

Born in Salinas, Puerto Rico, Alex exemplified the true meaning of hard work and dedication. He was a loving father to Julio and Janiris Carattini, a devoted partner to Lori Rosado, and a cherished son to Alba Mercado. He is also survived by his brother Christian Carattini, his sister Ivy Mercado, and a host of extended family and friends.

Alex's selflessness knew no bounds. He tirelessly strived to provide for his loved ones, ensuring their happiness above all else. He was a go-getter who did everything he could for his people. Whether it was lending a helping hand, offering a listening ear, or sharing his infectious laughter, Alex's presence brought joy and comfort to all who crossed his path.

He was known for his extravagant parties, thoughtful gifts, and endless generosity. He was the funniest guy everyone knew, always leaving people in tears with his witty humor. Alex was the most generous man in the world, always willing to give the shirt off his back to those in need, even if he needed it more.

The sudden loss of Alex has left an irreplaceable void in our lives, but his memory will forever be cherished in our hearts. Let us come together in solidarity to honor the legacy of our beloved Alex Carattini, a man whose love, kindness, and compassion touched the lives of all who knew him.

A visitation for Alexis will be held Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. Friends and family are invited to gather at the funeral home Friday, April 19, 2024 from 9:00AM to 10:00AM. The Funeral will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, E Linden Ave, Linden, NJ 07036.
