Assunta Fredella

It is with great sadness that the family of Assunta Crincoli Fredella announce her passing on Monday May 4th, 2020 at the age of 83. She was born August 15, 1936 in Vallata, Italy and resided in Elizabeth for 48 years. Assunta will be forever remembered by her husband of sixty-one years, Gerardo Fredella, her six children, Rosa, Antonia, Pasquale, Vito, Incoronata and Elizabeth, and her nine grandchildren, Giuseppe, Assunta, Sunny, Barbara, Justin, Jordan, Ava, Gerardo and the late Michael. She was also blessed with and will be remembered by her two great grandchildren, Emilia and Giuseppe, three sons-in-law; Gaetano DiPietro, Rich Singh and Gregg Parlegreco, two daughters-in-law; Tina Mancione Fredella and Donna Lear Fredella, and one granddaughter-in-law, Marta Davi Dipietro.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who cherished her family above all. She was a very special person to all who knew her and was loved by many. Her memory will be cherished by her family to whom she gave so much love and happiness. She was a woman of many passions, some being cooking, gardening, knitting and spending time with her grandchildren. It brings us comfort knowing she is resting in peace with her grandson Michael. It is within her family’s fondest memories she will always be found.

Due to current restrictions, Funeral services will be held privately in the care of Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home on May 14th and the laying of rest will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. A mass will be held at a later date to celebrate her life.
