Ewa Sienkiewicz, 76 years old, of Colonia, NJ passed away peacefully in Overlook Hospital after a long battle with cancer on March 19, 2021. Ewa was born in Warszawa, Poland to her late parents Wladyslawa and Stanislaw Muszynski. Her life growing up in Poland was simple and tough at times because of the war ending, and the country was rebuilding after the devastating war. Ewa was a good student and loved school. Her passion was international business and economics, and she decided to pursue it. She spent her summer breaks at her grandmother’s home in a village outside of Warszawa called Grudusk. Her life was much harder but much simpler back then.
On April 11th, 1971 she married Andrzej Sienkiewicz who was the love of her life. She loved being married to Andrzej, and enjoyed every minute of it. She migrated to the United States with her husband, two children and beloved dog in the summer of 1990. She lived a long and happy life. She enjoyed working in Macy’s in the Dior Department. She was an amazing make-up artist. She enjoyed the beach and a good book. One of her proudest moments was when her children started their own families, and started raising their own kids. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life. She was so happy to spoil them and spend time with them. She enjoyed celebrating birthdays of her loved ones and she always remembered to write and give greeting cards. We will miss her Christmas mushrooms soup and famous sour cream herrings.
She was predeceased by her husband Andrzej Sienkiewicz, her soul mate on December 13th, 2000.
She is survived by her beloved son Lukasz and his wife Ula, grandchildren Gabriella and Sabina, and beloved daughter Anna and her husband Andrzej Lysiak, granddaughter Alexandra and grandson Michael, two sisters Teresa Kropielnicka and her family, and Urszula Ksiezak and her family.
