Gregory R Sedillo

Gregory R Sedillo, 86 years, of Elizabeth NJ passed away peacefully on January 22, 2023 with his loving family by his side. Gregory was born June 10, 1936 in Elizabeth General Hospital to the late Gregorio and Jean Sedillo. He graduated High School in 1955, where he flourished as a track star. To this day, friends still talk about his impeccable talent as a track runner. After high school, Gregory enlisted in the Army National Guard where he served his country for 6 years. In October 3, 1959 he married Irene. Gregory would move on to work with computers in 1956 for many years before transitioning to tele-communications in 1994. He worked for companies like Weston, Allied Chemical, EF Hutton, Shearson Leman, and Smith & Barney. After retiring in 1994, Gregory moved to Cape Coral, Florida in 1998.

Gregory is predeceased by wife Irene Sedillo and parents Gregorio and Jean Sedillo.

Gregory is survived by daughter Sharyn Merola and spouse Riccardo, daughter Lissa Sedillo Martins and spouse Marcelo, grandchildren Richard and Rachele Merola, Alyssa and Brandon Martins, brother Edward Sedillo, sisters Dolores Memmer and Theresa Manhardt.

A visitation for Gregory will be held Friday, February 3, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A funeral mass will take place Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Adalbert's Church, 250 E Jersey St, Elizabeth, NJ 07206. A funeral will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, E Edgar Rd, Linden, NJ 07036.
