Gwendolyn Bernardo

She passed at the age of 70 on Saturday, March 29, 2025 in Linden NJ. Preceding her death are both her parents, her brother Leonard Jr. (Crusher), her sister Lenore Cunningham, her loving grandmother Clara Bernardo (NaNa) and other relatives.

She leaves behind her son Rashan Bernardo (wife Michelle), 6 grandchildren (Joshua 13, Janessa 9, Jayson 29, Michael 19, Matthew 18 and Mariella 16), brother Roger Bernardo, his children her nieces and nephew (Tasia, Shante, Lynette, Tara, Dana and Roger Jr.), niece Shonda Cunningham ( sister Lenore) and a host of other relatives.

Gwendolyn, affectionately known to family as "Sissy", was a child of The King (Jesus Christ) and was a member of Christ Assembly Church in Hillside, NJ. Sissy will be remembered as loving and sweet spirited, with a sense of humor that always brightened our times with her. John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her: "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?"
