James Ruane

Mr. Ruane retired from the Schering Plough Corp. in Union, after 53 years.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus of Union, and was an avid golfer.

James was the beloved husband for 65 years of Carole (Scott) Ruane, devoted father of James Ruane and his wife Nancy, Brian Ruane and his wife Bernadette, Mary Lynn Cuppari and her husband Frank, Lisa Milano and her husband Michael. Loving brother of the late John "Jackie" Ruane, Henry Swickel and Johanna McCole. Cherished grandfather of James Ruane, Frankie Cuppari, Tyler Ruane, Brian Scott Ruane, Kelsey Ruane, Nicky Cuppari, Michael Milano, Matthew Milano and Joseph Milano and the late James Anthony Cuppari. Great grandfather of Skylar Ruane, Avery Ruane, Riley Ruane, Gavin Ruane and Jamison Ritter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, 9:00 am from Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A funeral mass will be offered at St. Genevieve RC Church, Elizabeth at 10:00 am. Interment Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
