Jannette Belen

Jannette L Belen, 38, passed away on April 21, 2021. Cherished daughter of Artin and Carmen Belen and sister of Simon Belen. Born in Queens in 1983, she was raised in Elizabeth, NJ. She graduated from Roselle Catholic High School. Passionate about helping people from a young age, she pursued her education in Marriage and Family Therapy. She graduated from Kean University with an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy, earning her Marriage and Family Therapy License. She was a proud employee of NJ DCPP, caring and aiding numerous families and being an advocate for children.

Jannette was a devoted daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend to many. Her heart had an endless capacity, which she shared openly with everyone she loved. Compassionate and selfless, she was always there to offer her support and help. She had a zeal for life, and lived every day to the fullest, finding joy in each day. Jannette was an avid cook and a lover of music and live concerts. In her free time, she could be found cooking elaborate dinners for her family, and caring for her precious dogs Chop and Max.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A visitation for Jannette will be held Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A prayer service will occur Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 7:00 PM to 7:45 PM, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A funeral will occur Friday, April 30, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Rosedale Cemetery, 350 E Linden Ave., Linden, NJ 07036.
