

It is with great sadness and heavy heart that we have to say goodbye to an amazing man, Lawrence J. Franchini Jr. of Elizabeth NJ., who passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at the age of 64 years old.
Larry was born on January 15, 1960, in Elizabeth, NJ., to the late Lawrence J. Franchini Sr. and Ruth (Wolf) Franchini.
He graduated from Cranford High School in 1977. He went on to work with his father at Na-Vet Printing for 29 years, before assuming ownership in 2006 where he continued the business for the next 18 years.
Larry was a man that loved his family and friends. He was known for his stories, jokes, and smile. When he wasn’t at work, he would watch TV, especially Clint Eastwood movies, listening to his favorite rock band “The Doors”, fishing, or watching Sunday Night Football. His favorite team was the Rams. He loved the outdoors. He always said, “I will be living in a cabin when I retire”. The happiest moment was when President Trump regained Presidency.
Larry enjoyed his 4 dogs Lila, Spot, Bambi, and Pepper as well as his 4 cats Skutchy, Augie, Charlie and Tabby. He always had time for them, rolling on the floor or laying in the bed together.
He was the kind of person that would help anyone that was in need. He made friends quickly. Everyone that met him automatically connected with him because of his great personality. He coached his grandson’s baseball team for 2 years and was a member and much involved individual with his son’s Boy Scout.
Larry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle.
Larry is preceded in death by his father Lawrence J. Franchini Sr., his mother Ruth (Wolf) Franchini, and his brother Marcelo Sansig.
Larry is survived by his loving wife Marie (Zambujo) Franchini, his son Michael Franchini, from his previous marriage to Arleen (Galofaro) Franchini. His stepchildren Michael Ramirez and his fiancé Julie Dong, Christopher Ramirez, Allison Matos, his son-in-law Alex Guttierez and Steven Ramirez and his daughter-in-law Coral Ponce. His previous grandchildren include Jayden Ramirez, Mikayla Ramirez, Julian Guttierez, Adrian Guttierez and Zachary Ramirez, loving sister Lisa Franchini and brother-in-law Gary Hackerd, brother Lance Franchini, nephews Craig Sansig, Austin Hackerd, and niece Patricia Hackerd. He leave behind a host of cousins and friends.
A visitation for Lawrence will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A prayer service will take place Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036.A funeral will follow at Rosehill Cemetery and Crematory, 792 E Edgar Rd, Linden, NJ 07036.
