

Maestro Jean Philippe Destine was born on November 28th 1959 in Gonaives, Haiti to mother and father Cartelin Destine, He departed this life on Thursday, August 29th, 2024 at New York Presbyterian Medical Center. Maestro Jean Philippe graduated High School from Jean Past Marc on June 1977. Nevertheless, Maestro Jean P. Destine, Always had a strong interest in music and yearned to study it. He studied intently at Saint Trinity and completed his study in two years. Maestro Jean Philippe Destine then attended Saint Pilot University, upon completion, he had obtained a bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
He was married to Ghislaine Destine on December 27th, 1986. He worked as a commercial driver for Coach Suburban Transit for 23 years, Maestro Jean Philippe Destine had a rich musical background! Playing the organ, piano, accordion and guitar chords which requires a lot of skill and versatility. He donated his free time conducting choirs, serving the Lord and providing a safe haven here on earth for his wife, daughter and son in law and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by Meida Merijeune, mother and Cartelin Destine, father.

A Visitation for Jean will be held Friday, September 6, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at 24 Cleveland St, City of Orange, NJ 07050. A prayer service will occur Friday, September 6, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, 24 Cleveland St, City of Orange, NJ 07050. Followed by a funeral Friday, September 6, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Graceland Memorial Park, 1900 Galloping Hill Rd, Kenilworth, NJ 07033.
