Mercedes A Alvarez

Our dear mother was born in Cuba. She had six sisters and one brother. Mom and dad came to the U.S. in 1956. She was a loyal, kind, and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, and going to every family event. Most of all, she loved her family very much.

A visitation for Mercedes will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A prayer service will take place from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A funeral will follow at 1:00 PM in Fairview Cemetery, 1100 E Broad St., Westfield, NJ 07090.
