It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Omar Roig, who passed away on January 3rd, at the age of 52. Omar was a loving husband, hard worker, and cherished brother. He was known for his kindness, sense of humor, and above all, his deep love of family. Those who knew Omar will remember his warm heart, his ability to bring laughter to those around him, and his unwavering dedication to the people he loved.
Omar is survived by his loving wife, Melissa Roig, and his son Giovani Baez. He is also survived by his brother, Tony Roig, his sisters, Maureen Sheilds, Jacqueline Valerio, and Sarai Lauro; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him deeply.
Omar will forever remain in our hearts and will be remembered with love by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Omar will be privately cremated. May his soul rest in peace.
