Phyllis M Krause

Phyllis Mahon Krause, 71, of Linden, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026. Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, on March 30, 1954, she was the loving daughter of the late Joseph Mahon and Louise Owen.

A dedicated and hardworking woman, Phyllis spent many years working for the Social Security Administration before finding a lasting home in education. She proudly served as a teacher's assistant in the Linden school system for nearly 25 years, bringing kindness and guidance to her students and colleagues alike.

Above all else, Phyllis was a woman who deeply valued her faith, her friends, and her family. She was also fiercely proud of her Irish heritage, carrying that love and spirit with her throughout her life. Her warmth and lively conversation will be missed by all who knew her.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Kenneth Krause; her parents, Joseph and Louise; and her older brother, Joey.

She is survived by her two devoted sons, Joseph (and his wife Kacie) and William (and his wife Whitley), who will forever cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint Georges Ave, Linden, NJ 07036, US, on March 2, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Prayer Service will be held at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint Georges Ave, Linden, NJ 07036, US, on March 2, 2026, from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
