Carol was alway fun to be with.  Once he and his sons went to our camp at NorthEast Carry.  When the boys went upstairs to sleep, we pulled on a hidden cord to create a tap-tap noise near the bed.  We continued an occasional tap-tap until the Wyman bed was showered with water.

I will miss my long-time friend.  I am glad that he is waiting for me at a better place.

To the Carol Prosser Family,
We have certainly appreciated and enjoyed your parents time with us in Alaska over many years.  We were expecting a call from Carol any day telling us his arrival time to stay our house and help with the KCAM project.  He enjoyed Millie's cooking and teasing her.  Even when Helen was here, they would often stop by about the time we were serving dessert to the summer missionaries, often made with rhubarb. Carol was always ready to share the Word whether at Chistochina or other places. He was ready to leave this old world behind but didn't choose the most appropriate time.  I am sure it really changed a joyful occasion into a different tone very quickly. We extend our sympathy to you all and thank you for sharing your parents with us.

I am so sorry to hear of Carol's passing.  What a kind, gentle, and talented soul he was.  He will surely be missed. I will keep Carol and his family in my thoughts.

The news of Carol's passing is a great shock to all of us here on Rockwood Drive. For us personally, Carol was a great friend as well as our neighbor. He worked with my Father many years ago as they were both part of the same local out of Bangor. That is how we met him back in 1988. Ever since he has been a fixture in our lives. There were many connections. Through family, our mutual love for the outdoors, Moosehead and East Grand Lake. We shared  many great stories and laughs over the years. He was in particular one of the most amazing people I knew. From Maine to Alaska and beyond, he never hesitated to help someone wherever it was with whatever it was. He was a good and kind man and we are poorer for his passing but richer in having known him. We shall miss him terribly but we know that we never lose anyone in death that gave us something in life. And Carol gave us so much. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loving family at this time.

We are so saddened by Uncle Carol's sudden passing. He had a heart of gold, was tough as nails, and had a wicked sense of humor. He will be missed. Love to all his family.

Carol lived next door to my parents.  He was a great neighbor and I feel lucky to have met him!  He was very generous and such a talented woodworker.  He made us a beautiful table for our kitchen and I will think of him everyday!!

So sorry to hear of Carol's passing. His time at the Old North Fayette Community Church was a blessing. Condolences to his family.

This Rockwood neighborhood will truly miss Carol. He and his wife were wonderful neighbors. Our thoughts are with his entire family.

As the Cross Road Medical Center representative, we are saddened by Carol's home going.  Carol not only told people about Jesus, he showed them by using the talents in his hands.  Don and Millie Ressler also send their condolences. May God fill the emptiness in your hearts as you go thru this time.

Uncle Carol was a kindrid spirit and I loved the time we spent together, usually he was helping me with something (plumbing my house etc.) We walked his 60 acre lot together just last year and I think I was puffing more than he was.  I always enjoyed his visits and going over family history with him.  Mom (Delphine), I and Mary are really going to miss him.

Uncle Carol left us with many memories of Maine family get togethers of long ago, and touched us all with his great thirst for life, the Lord, and family. He will be missed.

Though I had met him briefly before when he was coming through Galena, we really got to know Carol this summer. He came up with his friend to help us with the house.
You would not believe that he was 82 years of age; he had the energy of a 28-year-old. We built drywall's and he showed Finn how to wire. He would build a deck with me and many other things. After a full day of work, he would help me to get driftwood till midnight or go beaver hunting with us till 3 o'clock. He would show us how to splice rope and many other things. During the daily coffee break he would tell us lots of stories. But he also was a good listener. And he challenged us to follow the Lord hard. Are you memorizing chapters of the Bible together as a couple?, was one of them. Carol stayed over two weeks with us. Within this short time, he became part of our family, a grandpa if you like; and we absorbed the wisdom he had to share. His spirit was very alive and you could see and feel it that he loved Jesus very much. Now he is with HIM! That is what we will remember. It was a privilege to get to know you Carol!
John 10:27-29 comes to my mind and could not fit better.

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my father is more powerful than anyone else.

To honor him we better start memorizing John 15, that's what he suggested.

Prayers to the family

Carol was such an encouragement to me. He showed God's love through service to others, lived his faith every day and was able to share scripture from his heart. He also amazed me with his knowledge and abilities when it came to repairs, maintenance and new builds. He also was pretty good at cutting down trees (and rebuilding my deck when he dropped that one tree on it). We will miss him, but we are excited that he is with his Savior and Helen. We rejoice that we will see him again in glory!

My Grandfather passed the way he lived his life; with family and friends surrounding him, Bible in hand, and the word of God on his lips.  We are saddened by his absence, but know he is in the presence of our Lord and Savior, and reunited with his wife Helen.  Though we miss his jokes, stories and nightly prayers, we have comfort knowing we will all be together again.

I was saddened to hear of Carol's unexpected death.  To all his family please accept my condolences and know you are in my prayers.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Carol for maybe 15 years.  I considered Carol a spiritual mentor and a Godly example in so many aspects of life.  I will never forget how loving  and devoted of a husband he was as he took care of Helen while she sick.  

I count it a privelage to have been able to spend time with him at his house, working on projects at Living Waters and most recently on a mission building project in Alaska.  Those are memories that I will cherish.

I take comfort knowing he is exactly where he longed to be with his Savior and reunited with Helen.  I look forward to the day  I will see him again in Heaven.

We were shocked to hear of the sudden death of my nephew Carol. He was more of a brother as we grew up together along with his sisters. Our prayers to the family, he will be missed.  God Bless

Carol was attending Glen Cove Bible College when I met him. We had some classes together, and he was instrumental in connecting me to the first church I served after graduation from Glen Cove. He stayed with us some while working in the Princeton area, and even helped me cut wood for the parsonage there.

May the Lord comfort all of you as you mourn his loss. We can look forward to seeing him later. God bless you all!

I was so blessed to have known Carol through the times he had up at Moosehead Lake with  my parents .Always jolly an a nice gentleman an loved the outdoors he will be missed by all he had touched an i would love to have spent more time around him ,My prayers go out to the family in these time an may the good lord bless them as he did with Carol.
