

Lewiston- Fred E. Moody Sr. 63, of Maple St. Lisbon Falls died Thursday June 19, at Central Maine Medical Center. He was born in Brunswick, on March 2, 1951 a son of the late Alfred and Ruth (Haney) Moody. He proudly served his country in the US Army for ten years. He met his true love and married the former Johanna Weber in Giessen, Germany on November 22, 1974. He then went on to work as an outside machinist for BIW, until he had to retire because of health issues. Fred enjoyed hunting, fishing, being an artist and loved spending time with his family. He was a prankster and knew how to light up a room with his witty sense of humor. He leaves his wife of almost 40 years Johanna Moody of Lisbon Falls, four children: Frederick Moody Jr. and wife Rebecca of CA, Frederick Moody III and wife Deborah of Nashua, NH, Gail Winslow and companion Tim of Lisbon Falls, and Harry "Al" Moody and companion Samantha Thompson of Sabattus, eight grandchildren: Colin Higgins, Cameron Moody, Jessica Moody, Nataliegh Moody, Cora Moody, Alyssa Moody, Alex Russell and Robert Russell, three brothers: Ronald Moody and wife Sandy of Topsham, Rodney Moody of Brunswick, and Alfred Moody and wife Sandy of Lisbon Falls, a sister Gale Bowman and husband Joseph of Dresden, two step sisters Tonya Farhad of Richmond and Rhonda Lemieux of Brunswick, two step brothers Bub Taylor and wife Jane of Bowdoinham and Greg Taylor of Westbrook, and several nieces and nephews.
