Kenneth was born in Bath, ME in 1946, son of Venise "Jackie" (Leavitt) and E. Arthur Kronstrand. He attended Brunswick schools and graduated in 1964.
Kenneth, (also known as Kenny to his friends and family) served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He had a long and varied career as an expert boiler-man, a service manager in a tire company, and spent the bulk of his working years at Bath Iron Works. He enjoyed his work there as a production planner. Kenny thrived in meeting and working with people. People responded to his friendly and helpful demeanor whether it was a local cashier or a colleague, everyone knew and liked Kenny. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed many days in the woods of Harpswell with friends in search of the elusive whitetail deer. He had an affinity for the sea and spent much time with his friends on a lobster boat and even ran a lobster store for a few seasons. Kenny met and married the love of his life, Joan in 1972 and they had a warm and a loving marriage for 45 years. Together they have 4 children. The family settled in Lisbon and has grown to include 5 precious grandchildren. Kenny and Joan loved nothing better than spending time with the family, enjoying barbecues and lobster bakes. Kenny and Joan enjoyed their retirement by vacationing in Florida during the winters and going on cruises.
Kenny is survived by Joan, the love of his life for 45 years; his sons Kenneth Jr., Wesley Craig and wife Kelley, David Kronstrand and wife Melissa; his daughter, Jackie Craig; his sister, Gail Lallier; his most beloved grandchildren, Sarah and husband Ben Hathaway, Hannah Craig, Matthew and Julia Kronstrand, and Ashleigh Redmond; his brothers-in-law, Wayne Brann and wife Kim and Bruce Brann. He was predeceased by his parents and his grandparents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 11am at Holy Trinity Church in Lisbon Falls. A committal will be held at a later date to be determined.
