

Auburn- Marjorie I. Fillion 77, of Macintosh Ln. died Wednesday May 9, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer, at The Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice with her family at her side. She was born in Litchfield England on September 14, 1934 a daughter of the late Cecil and Winifred (Granger) Deacon. She was educated in England and married the love of her life Joseph Fillion on July 23, 1955 in Litchfield England, while he was stationed there in the US Air Force. Marjorie was a homemaker raising her four children, she worked part time as a waitress. She also worked for many years with her good friend Claire Black doing Creative Window Treatments. She was also an adviser to the board of directors of the family business Penmor Lithographers. Majorie enjoyed playing golf with her friends at Martindale Country Club and Apple Valley Golf Course. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She leaves her husband of 57 years Joseph Fillion of Lewiston a daughter Karen Nicole and her husband Matt of Lisbon, three sons Paul Fillion and his wife Guylaine of Harpswell, Glen Fillion and his wife Audrey of Lewiston, and Wayne Fillion and his wife Susan of Brunswick, five grandchildren, Jennifer Fillion, Nicole Jones, Mathew Fillion, Eric Fillion and Cameron Fillion, a brother Derick Deacon and wife Margaret of England a sister Brenda Fletcher and husband Roy of Canada, a sister in law Irene Sullivan of Auburn, and many nieces and nephews.
