Alice G. Giannone, 89 of Bensenville was born April 18, 1926 in McClain County, Kentucky to Orion and Virginia (nee Lashley) Simon and passed away December 11, 2015. Alice was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore J.; loving mother of John (Nancy) Giannone, Frank (Carol) Giannone, Jim (Denise) Giannone and Gayle Smith; cherished grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of many. Visitation will Saturday, December 19, 2015 from 1:00 PM until time of funeral service 4:00 PM at Cypress Funeral Home, 1698 N. Bloomingdale Road, Glendale Heights. Graveside service and interment will be Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 12 noon at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society appreciated.
