

Audrey attended Ward-Belmont College in Nashville, Tennessee and went on to receive her A.B. degree from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. A lover of horses throughout her life, she was Captain of the Equestrian team during her college years.
She was a life-long Episcopalian and a member of Grace Church Hinsdale for over 60 years. Audrey was proud to have served on the Vestry of Grace Church, and was its first female Warden. She also served as President of the Episcopal Church Women (ECW), and ran the Anglican Shop at Grace Church. Audrey served on many committees of the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago, as well. In addition, she was several times elected President of the Capt. Hubbard Burrows Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was an avid amateur historian who enjoyed studying the history of England and Russia.
Her parents, Oliver Erskine and Hilda Heidel Mount, and her sister, Marie Christine Mount, preceded Audrey in death as well as her beloved late husband, Charles Erwin Pitte, Jr. A devoted matriarch, she is survived by her five children, Marie (Michael) Blohm, Jean Pitte, Charles Pitte, William (Chrystal) Pitte, and Mary Alice (Robert) Giddings. Audrey cherished her eight grandchildren: Julie, Gregory and Robert Gianneschi; Michael and Matthew Blohm; Jacob Pitte and Kathryn and Benjamin Giddings; and her four great-grandchildren, Jameson, Tyler, Joseph and Cara Gianneschi.
Private services will be held in Nashville, Tennessee with internment at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Nashville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to Grace Episcopal Church, 120 E. First Street, Hinsdale, Illinois 60521.
