Dean Bobisud

Dean Robert Bobisud, of Glen Ellyn, passed away on Friday, August 18th, 2023, after a short battle with cancer. Dean was born in Glen Ellyn to the late Robert and Marion Bobisud, and went on to become a dedicated member of the community. For many years, people knew him as the owner and operator of Rosati’s Pizza in Lombard, where he came to befriend many of his customers. He was a one-of-kind guy with a generous heart and adventurous spirit, and had a keen appreciation for a good joke. But above all, his family came first. He was a loving, devoted, and supportive father whose legacy will continue to live on through his beloved children, as well as through the countless lives he has touched throughout the course of his fulfilling life.

Dean is survived by his loving children, Alexis Bobisud–McAleer (the late Russell), Randy Bobisud, and Ashley Bobisud (Christian Beck). Also surviving are his sister Laura Malesky (David) and his nieces and nephews Amy Retuerto (Pete), Adam Johnson (Laura), and Megan McDermott.

He is preceded in death by his sister and brother in law Barbara Johnson-Miller (Kenneth).

A visitation for Dean will be held on Thursday, August 31st, 2023 from 3 - 8 P.M. at Blake Lamb Funeral Home in Lisle, 5015 Lincoln Avenue, Lisle, Illinois 60532. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home at 10 A.M. on Friday, September 1st, 2023 to pay their respects before processing to the Woodlawn Memorial Park, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, Illinois 60130 for Interment at 11:00 A.M.
