Edward J. Czyz

Edward Czyz, 64, passed away on January 3, 2017. Beloved husband of Linda Czyz (nee Wilke). Loving father of Dana (Jeff) Riedel. Cherished grandfather of Benjamin and Rohan Riedel. Devoted son of Mary and the late Edward Czyz. Dear brother of Gary (Barb) Czyz and Lana Carson. Fond uncle and friend to many. Proud 38 year member of IBEW Local 701. Active participating member of Midwest Gear Grinders. He had a love for the Akita Breed and was a former member of the Great-Lakes Akita Club. He always remained very proud of being voted MVP of Benet Academy’s 1970’s Varsity Football Team.

Visitation at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Avenue (On Rt. 53, ½ mile South of Ogden Ave./Rt. 34) in Lisle on Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 4 p.m.- 8 p.m. Prayers at Funeral Home on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 9:15 a.m to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Burial at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
