Edward R. Krol, United States Marine Corps Veteran, 87, passed away on January 31, 2026. Father of Rick Krol, Lisa (Jeff) Fisher, and Jennifer Wieser. Grandfather of Adam Fisher, Henry Wieser, and Mimi Wieser. Beloved Son of the late Stanley and Angeline, nee Rapacz. Fond Brother of Barbara (the late Gene) Kolenda, Joanne (Gregory) Waughop, and the late Stanley (Mary Ann), and Raymond. Uncle and Cousin of many.
Edward was proud of his careers with the Zenith Corporation and later the BNSF Railway. But, he was most proud of his service to our country and the United States Marine Corps. He was a lifelong member of the Du Page County/Naperville Chapter of the Marine Corp League. "Once a Marine, always a Marine" He was a die-hard Cubs fan and was often seen cheering on his beloved Chicago Bears.
Burial will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL, at a later date.
