Ginger Susan Urban, born Susan Ann Ecker (Susie), passed from this life unexpectedly on February 5, 2023. She was 51 years old. Ginger was born to Robert and Jennifer Ecker of Villa Park, Illinois. Ginger is survived by her son, Giovanni, her father Bob, her mother Sue, her sisters Katie (Vince), Linda (Joshua), and Becky, her brother Jeff (Katie), as well as several nephews – Nick, Carsen, Jake, Dylan, Luke, and Beau- and nieces- Davi, Grace, and Bella. She also has many loving Aunts, Uncles, and cousins who will miss her dearly.
Ginger enjoyed family and friends. Her laugh was contagious, she had a gorgeous smile, a never-ending supply of energy and a personality that would light up a room. Ginger was a talented hairdresser, and an especially gifted colorist. Her greatest pride, though, was being Mom to Giovanni. She adored him and was very proud of him. Her sudden passing was devastating to all those who knew and loved her.
A short committal service is planned at Mount Emblem Cemetery, 520 E. Grand Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126 at 10 AM, Friday March 3rd, 2023.
