Helen Marie Bates (nee Huber) 96, died on May 2, 2015. A resident of Hearthstone Manor, Woodstock, IL, formerly of Huntley, IL and Park Ridge, IL. Loving wife of the late Frank H. Bates; mother of the late Evelyn Arlene (Fred) Scheuer and the late Esther Marie (the late Bill) Brosch, Thommes (Rich) and son James E. (the late Judy nee Gilbert) Bates;. She was born in Danville, IL and raised in Lincoln, IL at the Oddfellows Children’s Home where she met her future husband. She outlived her husband, 2 daughters, a grandson and a great granddauther. Currently she has her son Jimmy, 8 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren surviving her. Visitation Friday, May 8, 2015 from 3 pm to 8 pm at Cypress Funeral Home, 1698 N. Bloomingdale Rd, Glendale Heights, IL 60139. Chapel Service, Saturday at 12 pm. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery Arlington Heights.
