James C. McCabe, age 85, US Navy Vet of WWII and Korea, of Glendale Heights for 48 years. Beloved husband of the late Gwendolyn “Bootsy” and the late Anna M.; caring father of eleven children; cherished grandpa of 16, loving great grandpa of 13 and best friend to Gina, his dog. James proudly served in the Navy for 20 years and retired from General Mills in West Chicago after 26 years. Pops was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation Sunday, December 12th from 3-9 pm at Cypress Funeral Home, 1698 N. Bloomingdale Road, (between Army Trail Road and North Avenue) Glendale Heights. Interment private.
