Michelle A Skvarek

She was the beloved daughter of the late Michael and Ann Skvarek and the cherished sister of Kenneth Skvarek.

A visitation for Michelle will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2023, from 3 - 7 PM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Avenue, Lisle, Illinois 60532, with a mass of Christian burial to follow the next day at St. Margaret Mary Parish in Naperville at 11AM. Interment will follow at Resurrection cemetery in Justice, Illinois.

Michelle was first cousin to Gene (Ginny) Sebek, Robert (Diane) Sebek, the Late Carol (Fred) Sullivano, Richard Skvarek and Michelle (the late Jerry) Jeropke.

Michelle was the beloved aunt of many. She loved going to parties with family and cherished her time with all her nieces and nephews. At parties you could always find her happily chatting with everyone in the kitchen. She loved Elvis, enjoyed playing BINGO with her friends, watching the Hallmark movie channel, baking Pillsbury cookies, shopping, dinners out, and telling many funny stories of days long ago.

Michelle worked her entire career, from the week after graduating high school to the day she retired, as a professional legal secretary for many of the prestigious attorneys and law firms in downtown Chicago, Illinois.

She had a special fondness for dogs, especially Golden Retrievers. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to asgoodasgold.org, a rescue and adoption service for Golden Retrievers, along with the American Cancer Society.

Michelle, Mitzi as we lovingly called her, will always be cherished and forever in our hearts.
