She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Ronald Radwan, on August 16, 1980, after only dating for a year. The couple were together for 32 years before Ronald passed away in 2012.
Rebecca was a loving, stubborn, social butterfly, who was notorious for talking your ear off. She was a stay at home mom who dedicated her life to her three children, and she loved being a grandma to her grandson. Her family thought she was the best mom in the whole world. Rebecca loved everyone so fiercely and made sure that they knew they were loved from the day they were born until the day she died.
She had very strong convictions, and lived her life by her own rules. She was also a very fun person, who loved to party! She introduced her family to disco and Donna Summers, but she also loved Van Halen, Rob Zombie, and she really took an interest in her children's music. She lived a full, strong life, and she was very open-minded.
In great sadness of the loss of her, we know she got her wings and was greeted at Heaven's Gates by her husband, Ronald, to be walked in and reunited with her family.
She was survived by her children, Jeffrey (Veronica Lara), Rian, and Katie; grandson, Aiden; sister, Susan (Brian); and many precious cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; her parents; and her brother, Jerry.
A Celebration of Rebecca's Life will be held at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Ave., Lisle, on Wednesday, December 15th, 2021, from 3-8pm, with a time of sharing held at 6pm. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 16th, 2021 at 10am. Friends may greet the family from 9:30 until the time of service. Interment will be held at Clarendon Hills Cemetery, 6900 S Cass Ave, Darien, immediately following the service.
